Il Muretto - Licciana Nardi
Local institution. €10 for a 3 course lunch with wine! Also takeaway pizza in the evenings of Thursday - Sunday.
Venelia - Monti
Great anitpasti. Tipical Lunigese menu and great wood fired meat in the evenings.
Castello di Pontibosio - Monti
Sophisticated and surprisingly good. Cocktail bar and excellent restaurant - less casual - outside restaurant in summer.
Beatrice Pizzeria e Ristorante - Monti
Lively and great food. Always full of locals. Pizzas are delicious and the main menu is full of local specialities as well as meat and fish. In summer there is an outside area which is very pleasant.
Gavarini - Mocrone
Gavarini is a restaurant and wine cellar set in gardens gardens. The mixed starter is excellent as is the wine list.
Galetti - Comano
Galetti has just been modernised and taken over by the son of the owners. The homemade pasta is excellent. Sundays are full of families with low local prices and friendly staff.
Casa Turchetti Agriturismo - Comano
Excellent location, excellent food. A bit tricky to find but only 10/15min drive.
Per Bacco - Aulla
Excellent restaurant in the middle of Aulla in one of the squares. One of our favourites. Recommend to book. Steak really good. Nice wines. Lovely owners.
Locanda Del Deglio - Deglio
Great restaurant in the middle of nowhere! Fantastic food specialising in fish. 20mins from Braia. Really worth the trip.
La Calata - Lerici
Our favourite in Lerici. Located in the square with beautiful views of the harbour. Fresh fish of course!
Ciccios - Bocca di Magra
Big fish restaurant by the mouth of the river Magra. They have tanks of lobster, lovely views, a fun interior with a nautical flavour. This is the right place to be eating fish. The food is excellent.
Il Merlo - Lido di Camiore
Sophisticated and excellent. Beautiful surroundings. Looks like it might be a beach club but it is lovely inside and the owners are very welcoming. Really good.
