Sarzana: Farmers market on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (10:00 – 18:00)

Lerici: Clothes – Upmarket. Worth getting up early for.

Sunday

La Spezia: first Sunday of every month (except August) in Piazza Cavour – antique and collectors’ market (08:00-20:00). In July in Passeggiata a Mare (08:00-24:00)

Sarzana: 3rd Sunday of the month in Via Landinelli (winter) and Marinella di Sarzana (summer) – general street market (15:00-19:00

Lunigiana has much to offer.  Braia is 15mins from a motorway so it is easy to travel to many wonderful places.  From sampling wine at local vineyards to shopping at the famous Forte dei Marmi market for cashmere and furs,  or buying fish at the market in La Spezia, there is something for everyone.
