BEACHES TO VISIT
The Best Beaches and Seaside Towns in Tuscany and Liguira
LERICI, TELARO & SAN TERENZO
Our favourite and the closest beach/seaside town to Braia. Less touristy and as spectacular as anywhere along the coast. Lerici has a castle perched above brightly colored houses and the harbor. During the tourist season you can go by boat to Portovenere and on to the Cinque Terre.
CINQUE TERRE
Our favourite and the closest beach/seaside town to Braia. Less touristy and as spectacular as anywhere along the coast. Lerici has a castle perched above brightly colored houses and the harbor. During the tourist season you can go by boat to Portovenere and on to the Cinque Terre.
FORTE DEI MARMI, VIAREGGIO & LIDO DI CAMIORE
This Versilian coast is all about having fun on the beach. There are bars, restaurants, beach umbrellas, deckchairs, sunbeds, bathing–huts and showers in these bathing-establishments (some of these also offer the possibility to practice sports or other beach entertainments). Many of the big bathing-clubs, stay open for dinner, they often organize after-dinner parties with drinks, music, and are open to the general public.
PORTOVENERE & PALMARIA
A must-visit!! Portovenere is as beautiful as the Cinque Terre and often named as the 6th village. Palmaria is a small island of the port and fun to take a boat and have lunch.A
PORTOFINO RAPALLO SANTA.MAGARITA
Portofino one of the most beautiful seaside towns in Italy, but is difficult to visit by car so a great choice is to visit Santa Margarita, park, and then take the boat to Portofino.
MARINA di Carrara/Massa BOCCA di MAGRA
Mariana di Carrara is closer to Braia and a less expensive option. The beach clubs are well kept and often provide parking as well.
